EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY (EYC)

For rising 6th - 12 graders
5:17 p.m., Weekly on Sunday

EYC for middle and high school youth meets weekly Sunday at 5:17 p.m. for dinner and a program. On- and off-site activities focus on outreach, Christian living, community building, and fun. Among their many events last year were beach and river jaunts, Angel Tree, Christmas Tree Sale, chili cook off, winter ski trip and summer mission trip, and monthly feeding of guests at Good Shepherd House. In addition, St. John’s youth participate in Diocesan youth events at Trinity Center, including the Annual Diocesan Youth Convention, and renewal events such as Happening and New Beginnings.

Youth Life Groups

The Boys Life Group has resumed meeting on Wednesdays.  They meet with Steve Nelson (Youth Director) in the Loft at St. John's church from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

The Girls Life Group will resume their meeting on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. The will meet with Jessica Nelson at the home of the Skrabals.  The meet from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
