PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Wrap yourself in St. John’s new, rapidly growing ministry.

Home of Carol Economou

Please call Harriet Schroeder (632-9417)  for more information about this wonderful ministry.

Last year 58 shawls were given to the sick and shut-ins at St John's, taken to the hospital and distributed to patients, and given to friends that are sick or disabled showing that they are thought of and cared for with love and warmth. Join us the third Monday of every month at 10:30 AM.  Call for our meeting place each month. We welcome all who like to knit or crochet or who would like to learn!

Please join us every 3rd Monday at 10:30 a.m. to participate in this amazing outreach of love and compassion. Any extra yarn you can donate is always appreciated and may be left in the church office. You may contact Billie Craft, 392-3928, or Harriet Schroeder, 632-9417 to learn more.  "Prayer Shawl Ministry” provides shawls to the sick, shut-ins, nursing home patients, etc. The garments are lovingly hand-made, prayed over, and blessed prior to being given out. Experienced knitters are especially needed, but anyone who wants to participate is welcome, and lessons will be available.
